A Russian army T72 B2 moves past a Kurganets 25 IFV during spring exercises somewhere in western Russia. The T72 B2 is the most visually distinctive yet one of the lesser known versions of this iconic tank. Trumpeters 1/35th offering is an excellent if somewhat tricky and fairly complex kit to build. It requires a bit more of an effort than most of Trumpeters other versions of this tank, but the end result is an impressive replica of the real thing. As with most kits there is always room for extra fine detailing depending on the individual, but straight out the box would suffice for most modelers.

The Kurganets 25 IFV is one the latest generation of Russian armoured vehicles. The IFV is a less heavily armed and protected version of the MICV with only a single machine gun instead of the 30mm cannon and missile armament of its heavier brother. Panda Models have done a good job with this kit. Molding and surface detail is excellent with virtually no fit issues encountered along the way. Definitely one of Pandas better kits.

Tank and Evolution resin figures painted in oils complete the picture.

Very Nicely executed Mark. The two models really dominate the scene.

I'll second that; very nice indeed. I've been looking back at your other builds and I really like your style; the composition is usually spot on - never too crowded. keep it up. Brian
