Knowing how Tamiya like to get full use from the molds I can see other versions in the pipeline...Radio Truck, Ambulance, Maultier etc.

Well, considering that those are also tooled by Italeri, I don't suppose they will be long...

The kit having a Driver and Navigator is even more pleasing.

This is welcome news, all the ones I have been able to scrounge up have tire burns in a couple of spots.
It doesn't appear as though Tamiya is offering the newer 8 stud wheels, but it does look like we get corner windows , and figures are alway welcome.

I hope it has decent wheels and a good cab. Looks like it will need detailing sets already, hmmm? (At least an Opel Blitz sticker on the front...)

Width indicators: way too fat!
No "Opel Blitz" in logo.
Voyager/Lion Roar etc. will have a field day! :-)

Seriously, nicely done Tamiya, I'll probably buy half a dozen...

I can't wait either until it hits my hobby shop too.My only hopes are that it's $40 or less and the 2 figures aren't as lame as the ones in their French armored carrier.

Good news. I could use one of these for a nice diorama.

Thanks for the update, Pat
