Its Google's Sketch-Up. Its a nice little free program for home users, or its around $500.00 for the pro version. Im using the free one though.

Is the free version a limited time use?
Are the tools intuitive and simple to learn?

The free edition is unlimited time use. It is very easy to lean, this took me like 10 min to figure it out. there are also a ton of tutorials on the web on how to use it.

Just google SketchUp and you will find the download. Something cool about this program to is that it uses real world measurments so if you want it 10 feet, then pull the line to 10 feet and so on.

Here is the start of my dio concept now that the buildings are out of the way,
tell me what you think.

There will be us troops being ambused by germans that are on top of the tall brick building with the gate.

That is really nice. The big wall is nicely detailed and not overpowering.
What scale are you going to do this in?

nick, the sherman took about 3 seconds! It was a free download off of google sketchup 3D warehouse. So i just downloaded it and then with one click i had a sherman!

Slodder, I will be making this in 1/35 scale.

Yeah, I just downloaded it this morning.
Fun application. I need to practice more, but I figured out the rectangle tool, I think.
The arch tool may be a little more challenge.
