Novel idea that parachute! In the right painter's hand's, it should make a very nice looking vignette.

Darren, what is "air cavalry" ? Paratroopers?

It is one of the most eye catching figure releases I have seen in a while Hisham, and I suspect a lot of people will think the same due to its originality.

I thought Air Cavalry used bigger 'chutes for the horses...

Nice to see this parachute thing- I just wonder how they'll package it and whether it will look thin enough. Still, despite that its still a very eye catching and welcome release.

Anyone remember those toy soldiers you used to buy that were attached to a parachute and you could throw them and the parachute would open? This kind of reminds me of them!

Some really innovative stuff there. But 1/100? Is this a thorwback to early Tamiya?

The ones I remember had parachutes that usually opened when they were only a yard from the ground, at terminal velocity! I rigged a cloth 'chute for my GI Joe (that's Action Man to you...) that kinda worked if you launched it with some wellie from a slingshot, but half the time he just roman-candled. Good thing he was made of plastic.

Hahaha- yeah I remember I had to stand on a kitchen chair and hold my hand up high and drop him- only then would the chute open otherwise it was ker-splat !

Those parachutes are pretty darned cool. I admit to some disappointment that the T-90 mirage of the 3rd quarter of the year has yet again failed to appear.

those Crete fallschirm set is a very good set. Zvezda has made recentlysome very nice progresses, with their dog sets, moutainers etc..
this one is very innovative and eye catching as the other said. But not only the parachute ! If you lokkf the guy firing the mg the pose is excellent, the guy firing the mg is also nice with execellent face expression. The helmets look perfect. Som many time I've seen helmets made by Dragon looking more like chamber pot than helmet.
If you want to put them all in a dio, this one is gona be big !
I guess the parachute rope is not included. This will be the boring part or sure.

Horse were LAPE'ed . This gave rise to the term, hit the ground running.

"Air cavalery" must be russian "Воздушная пехота" ( Vozdushnaya pehota).
Those are paratroopres using light invading tanks

1/100th????? What happened to 1/48?

I see a dio already. If the chute is too thick, it can probably be thined down on the edges to give the apperance of thin material. I really am going to need this set. Yes, an American and British chute set would be awsome to Zvezda, hint, hint!!!
