Thanks for that, Kevin. I have built both DML and Tasca Shermans, and given the price for this, I'd pick the latter (have one in my stash).

It's interesting: a Sherman IC with late war cupola. But I think I'm with Bill. Once Tasca comes out with an M4 variant, it really seals the vault, IMHO.

Sadly, the same crummy turret. While I prefer the Dragon lower hull and suspension over Tasca (on the new M4 Normandy), the turret fit is dismal.

Having held stow the tow cable on an M20 Armored car, that tow cable is uniquely layed out.

I won't pan this til I see it on a shelf (and see the sticker price!) because it looks like it offers the uniquely British cupola from the Comet as an alternative. I haven't built the DML M4 yet, so cannot say if the base kit is any good, but I've spent my share of time wrestling with regrettably avoidable flaws in other expensive DML Sherman releases. Of course, the lack of Tasca M4 makes the decision kinda moot!

As for that tow cable, the stowage is typical of a tank expecting action - it's already hitched up to the front shackle, ready for a speedy recovery. I've seen it like that in loads of combat photos, even if it isn't by the book...

I was refering to the unique way the cable bends around the ventilator.

I see what you mean! Maybe it was stowed by Uri Geller?
