Hi there,
well as you can see there is always room for another campaign
So I thought with all these lovely KV tanks, Storm tanks or self propelled artillery vehicles out there, we could do an "anything on a KV chassis" campaign.

What do you people think, any players?

I'd say we could start around January 2014? Unless you people want to start later, or even earlier?

Paul as you know I'm alway with you my brother from another mother
But 2 thing I don't have a v in the stash, building it in the Stailns Armor Campaign, and I am blogged down with my 20 campaigns that I'm in
So I vote for a later, like March start date

I'd be in with a KV-2...most probably. I'd also shoot for a March to June start date. I'm pretty bogged down myself. I've finally made myself promise to build a couple of things that I've had percolating in my brain for the past few years.

Ok lads, it's not been 24 hours and we're more than halfway to a campaign.

1.Sal
2.Alex
3.Jeff
4.Smokey
5.Paul A
6.Paul B

Let's try and coax some more in here, I'd say the start date could be March 1st 2014 and would run for 5 months - July 31st.

Is that ok with all?

If anyone one feels the need to do a "what if", then ok go for it.

Paul... have you checked with John on a more accurate estimate on the start time? I know there are a lot about to start in that time frame and you might be better served.

Also (my opinion) I'd like to see more historically accurate builds than the "what ifs" here and leave those for 'other' Campaigns. I mean, kit bashing can occur to build a vehicle that was built but doesn't have a mass produced kit for it.

Hi Jeff, I checked the Campaign Page and the only other campaign
is my desertised campaign starting on April 1st. There are 3 others all starting Jan 1st but that should fit ok.

As for the What if's, maybe you're right and I'll drop that idea.
I would've loved to seen the KV-V1 Land Battleship done though:

Even though one was built this still has to be a sort of what if.

Yeah, well... I do know a thing or two and it would still be wise to ask first. There are more things in the wind than that are on the Campaign page. It's always proper manner to work closely with the Manager in that department.

But hey, what do I know? I have only been around here since 2005.

Since it's a vehicle family specific campaign I had not thought of any what-ifs. I'm still going with the KV-2 though. It has its own odd look to it as it is.

I'd love to see someone try to tackle one of the stretched KVs. Were there any recovery versions? Bridge-layers? Any Yugoslav adaptations? I recall seeing some captured examples sporting flak guns.

Thanks for the support guys, we need one more and I'll submit this one.
Ok another roll call:
1.Sal
2.Alex
3.Jeff
4.Smokey
5.Paul A
6.Sascha
7.Mike
8.Alex K
9.Paul B

Are all satisfied with the duration dates?
If not they can still be changed.

Here's a set of rules:
1.Any KV model Produced, including one timers like the KV-V1
Battleship
2.Any scale
3.Kit must be unstarted
4.Lots of in build pics and at least 1 in the Gallery
5.Have fun

As for ARV's I found this:

for discussion only:

I'm sure there's more out there, we'll just have to start searching

here's one site worth looking at for choices:

Hi Sal, I'm sorry but that's a no.
Here's how Wikipedia describes the KV Tank
Quoted Text

The Kliment Voroshilov (KV) tanks were a series of Soviet heavy tanks, named after the Soviet defense commissar and politician Kliment Voroshilov and used by the Red Army during World War II.

I know it's the forerunner of the IS tanks, but I would prefer
to keep this stuck to the KV chassis.
And apart from anything I don't want to steal any vehicles from a Campaign that's already running (Stalins Armor ). But I'm sure you have something in your stash, or soon will have

Vance , thanks mate your the maker of this

I'll try and get this submitted tonight.

Thanks guys.
