W models's site tells 225 euros. Not for the average modeler !

Not a bad price actually, considering the size of the model and the sheer quantity of resin used.

Cheers,

Are there any reviews of this or any other W-Model kits around? How is the quality and details on their offerings?

Only 30 1/35 pieces will be produced and the item will be discontinued. Sounds like Walmart Black Friday sales strategy: advertise an item which will be available in extremely limited quantities, wait for the crowd to build up, open the doors and watch the ensuing stampede and feeding frenzy. Sorta like an online death cage match.

I received a couple of months ago W Model's 1/35th Bereg. While a very expensive kit ($235), it still presents an impressive array of parts. The quality of the resin is good with perhaps a splash of some not-so-highly detailed pieces as well. should build into an impressive vehicle when I get around to it, nevertheless. I may kit bash with a Scud kit to help along the weaknesses of the W Model.

I was also told by W Model people that the 1/35th line is discontinued (my Bereg was the last one). If the 1/35th Grumble is available, then that is news to me.

Joseph, at the prices they were sporting their 1/35 kits I doubt there was a crowd at their doors But who am I to know

John, any chance you post a review of your kit?

Their website indeed only shows their 1/72 series now so the 1/35 might be out of production.

I'm somehow tempted to give their Krug a try but I am not at the same time

My little blurp about the Bereg is my kit review. While the kit is impressive by sheer number of resin pieces alone, detail suffers on some parts. I was serious about using an injected molded kit to help 'stengthen' the bold look this W Model kit deserves.

I see... Well, I would have expected more at that price tag...
