Not trying to hijack the thread or anything but just tonight I found a couple of lost photos in my archive and I thought I would share them here:

The Patton Museum's Pz. Kpfw III, Ft. Knox, KY. Back in the day . . .

This isn't just a rebox or common panzer III, this is a much needed addition. Apart from being a command vehicle it's also an Ausf. J with turret and hull schurzen...so..yeah. I guess the all the downers will have to find another Dragon lot to moan about because this rocks.

The III-J befehls is indeed a great addition to the D's III line-up, in MHO. It offers a J in the befehls configuration plus those schurzen... nothing to whine about, there. You could, of course, purchase that CyberHobby limited ed. J to get the J plus that cute little smoke-bomb signal basket hung off the cupola, along with the sternantenna and armored base-pot... and get the D's III-N w/ schurzen for... the schurzen set. And build up a nice III-J befehls with schurzen and all.

Or... you can get all of that now (or soon) in one box for the price of a single kit! NOTHING to whine about, there! This one will be on my BUY list.

The missing "link" in the D's III chain may well now be a good modern kit of the III-K befehls... the last of the III befehls versions to come with a dummy main gun. THAT would be a nice addition, I think.
