Wow, Brett. Very nice. I'm getting cold just looking at it. Your figure in particular really brings the whole thing together. If I were permitted to make one suggestion I would say that the exhaust would benefit from a tiny bit of soot around the end of the tail-pipe, but overall this is a fantastic-looking project.

The whitewash wear looks great, and that chilled figure adds nice ambiance.

I'm right now about 3/4 done with this same kit - added Tristar tracks and a few scratch details and extra PE bits here and there, but no tilt for me! It's a great kit as is but can use a few bits for better look. I hope that mine comes out looking near as nice as does yours!

I'll echo Mark's point about maybe sooting-up your exhaust pipe a little.

Couple other things; I'm sort of looking for track-tracks in that snow? Either he just recently drove in (tracks in snow), or he arrived there before that snow - in which case there would surely be some snow drifted onto his tacks, etc.? OR maybe he just beamed in!

And the rusty exhaust pipe looks great... but maybe that heat-shield should have some paint on it? Or else it hasn't done it's job... it is there to keep guys from standing on or leaning directly onto a hot muffler, so it probably does not get all that hot itself...

All-up, great job , and BTW, WELCOME BACK into the hobby again! I myself returned fairly recently from a short 35-year break! A bit like bicycles... Seems like I never got off and left it!

Thanks, guys! There are tracks in the snow, but I was trying to get more of a tracks in the thick snow vs. churned up ground. I need to do better on my groundwork. I used LifeColor rust colors and still need to work with those a little.

Brett..well done..I have this kit and is partially completed. Looking at the way you finished yours, I may venture out and try some winter camo as well. Welcome back, and yes, I still refer back to a paint color guide you put together a number of years ago. Cheers!

Hey Brian - I used a combination of Woodland Scenics snowflakes, glosss medium by Liquitex and white pigment. More gloss medium and you get slushy snow; more snowflakes and pigment gets you powdery fresh snow. The gloss medium also acts as a glue to keep the groundwork in place. Experiment with different consistencies and see what works for you!

Really fine job, Brett!! Further proof that an old shelf queen can still turn out as nice as yours. And the cold atmosphere to the scene is captured well.
