This is the Third and final news story on MiniArt for now. This one looks at a set of figures that I am really looking forward to as it features five US Infantry at rest during a lull in the fighting or having been rotated to the rear.

These look promising, I like how the box art is vague not staged in a scene like dragon's figures so it gives the modeller freedom to place them individually, in vehicle's or maybe a diorama scene... something reminiscent of Saving Private Ryan where they're searching through the dog tags.

I like this set to.
Not for the Normandy campagne though. most of the uniforms are from a later date in the ETO.

Yes exactly what I was thinking.....I just wish they would make a set in either early war (gaiters and M41 field jacket) or late war jackets as above. Stop mixing the uniform within the set which restricts to late war. BUT...still a good set for Allied modellers as we take what we can get.

Early, mid or late, it's great to see this sort of thing. No "heroes of Socialism," or pointing off in the distance, but doing what soldiers do.

Bery very useful set and nice to see they got the one guy "coppin a squat" on his helmet. We did that a lot as it keeps your hind end dry and sort of clean.
