I can think of a few scenarios where they would come in handy. Particularly with all of the recent interest in the 1st World War. Al

Grisly but necessary for things like trench warfare dioramas.

It's a shame that there aren't more bones and a greater variety of them ie rib cages etc. When you think about the amount of bones in the human body as well as the skull there is rather a lot that would be left after the body had decomposed. If there were more bones you could have disturbed battlefield graves as well as abandoned casualties etc. Maybe they'll think to do a set of bones or partial skeletons. I bought a pack of a bout half a dozen skulls a few years ago intending to use it one in a N.Africa dio but didn't bother in the end as I'd not got a skeleton or bones. They could corner the market on that as the only one I can think of is a VP one wearing an overcoat.

This talented modeler (God rest his soul) did a phenomenal job on his homebrew skeleton, especially his nuanced solution to the ribcage: http://www.internetmodeler.com/2001/may/figures/hell.htm

Gents, in most cases corpses don't lie out long enough to turn into skeletons. That requires all their clothes to disintegrate. Just look at this classic photo from Verdun:

You mean pelvic girdles... there is not really anything as a "hip bone" as the hip is a joint between the femur and the pelvis... (sorry, it is the Paramedic in me...).

I agree about the rib cage... here is a suggestion... find one of your local use groups that may have a 3D printer and make some... let me see if I can find a resource...

Warriors makes a complete skeleton in 1/35th, #35503. I have two of them. One problem is you have to scribe out the rib cage, very delicate work but great looking when done. I plan to use one in a jungle dio where the poor fellow ended up on the bank of a river or swamp. Just the skeleton and leather parts would be left and metal of course. Have some grass growing through it and you have a perfect scenario of jungle casulaties. On average it takes 3 days for a body to decompose in the wet jungle, climate and bug larva really do a job on bodies.

If you look at the Drakkar Models site you'll see that they dabble in both historical and fantasy figures and accessories. The skulls also come in small scale if you want to create an even more sinister scene in a 1/35 dio.

The skulls with bones as displayed in the set have modern real world applications for dios or vignettes...Cambodia, Africa, and the Balkans to name a few were atrocities have occurred. You don't need a full skeleton to portray the horrors of genocide.

If you really want to turn heads...or skulls...use the Drakkar Models 1/24 skulls or their Orkoïd / Goblinoïd skulls in a 1/35 dio!!!

Even a single skull can tell a big story and be the focal point of a poignant scene...

I like the varying shapes and sizes the bones are sculpted into.

Thought about ordering a set. Funny thing, their website is in English, but when you go to the PayPal page, to check out, it's in French! Al
