I have been informed that Mike Kirchoff AKA Drumthumper passed away this morning. Mike has been a member on the KitMaker Network since December 2004.

Mike and I have been friends for 30+years, he has built patterns for years, my favorite was the Shilka and T-34 interiors that he did for me at Trakz.

I didn't know the gentleman, but it certainly looks like he left a great mark in the hobby.. RIP, and my condolences to his family.

I did not know Mike nor his work, but the modeling community has been diminished by his loss.
