0Is the Hanomag SS-100 the biggest yawn city kit ever? And from what I hear it comes from Takom's equivalent of Dragon's Black Label crew..i.e. it is a second class citizen..not hating just saying...

I have the kit. I think it is nice, will build it when the time comes! The munitions bins are a nice option. I imagine that there will be lots of other aftermarket stuff for this tractor.

I don't know what the yawn factor is or the expectations were that were supposedly unmet. It always seemed obvious to me that modelers had to provide their own artillery kit to be towed by it (which also means gun is in travel and not combat mode).

Well, the new wheel set announced by DEFModel will hopefully fix one of its problems - they're hopefully wartime tires.

Kind of weird looking but I find it an interesting use for a dog-ugly truck. Perhaps Custom Scale could step in and offer an artillery version of Tamiya's huge Famo kit before I'm forced to scratch-build it later in the upcoming year. Now THERE would be an interesting beast. This one shown here, after some reflection, not so much...
