Howdy

Here i want to share my finished Model.

You really never see Tiger`s or Panther`s on the Internet, always Matilda`s or Churchill`s, so i decided to build a Tiger II

I`m still new to the whole Model building, so any constructive criticism is welcome.

I build the Tamiya Kingtiger Ardennen Front out of the box. The Washes/Pigments are from Valleyo.
I tried new things with this Tiger:
-Hinterhalt-Tarnung
-Spots where a Shell hit the Armor
-New technique painting Model Figures
-Very first try on a "Pea Dot" Camouflage.

I m very pleased with the result. Specially with the Figures i made a huge step forward (if you compare the ones from my last Project). But i still make huge mistakes during my builds. I made one on this Modell, but only after looking at the pictures, i noticed my mistake. You will see it on the very first picture

long story short... here are the pictures:

here is the shell hit i was talking about. Would like to know what you guys think about it.

here is a picture from my last Projekt (so you can compare the two Figure sets)

hope you guys like the pictures.

cheers
David

I assume you were kidding about never seeing Tigers or Panthers on the internet.
