These can't be used for WWII VWs as those had the KDF emblem on the hubcaps, and not the VW logo.

Maybe not a total bummer.






There are many images where the hubcaps are smooth,no logo at all. Some careful work with a fine grade file and sandpaper would remove that VW logo.

There was also another (third??) style of hubcap. A flatter disc with a small cup/hump in the middle.





On the other hand, there were only a handful of strictly civilian KdF-wagens during the war. The wheels would be useful for an "official" KdF-wagen using non-military type tires. Deliveries to the average Herr Schmidt and Herr Müller didn't start until after the war ...

By the way: The rubber on those SKP-wheels doesn't look like a civilian/street type pattern, more like off-road tires ...

and this is not a photo since this situation would not have happened during the war, well not unless daddy was some kind of state official, Nazi-party official or a military officer.
