The Russian villagers would work for practically the whole 20th Century and even into the 19th. The females could even work for Napoleonic.

Daniel - small children can often have disproportionally large heads in relation to their bodies. Usually they grow into it.

Looking forward to the Russian villager set, they are great looking and would fit in well from the 30's on. The German set makes me wonder what the heck, those figures had been released earlier as set #35086. The figure title was printed in red. Same figures with the same option for the police figure. The old woman is from a picture in a book titled Allies on page 143, kind of freaky when I saw that.
