Hello All,

It’s been many years since I lasted posted on this forum, but much has happened since including my legacy of build logs going down the toilet thanks to our friends at Photobucket. I downloaded all my images from the site but they lack any context not linked to the text.

I am still trying to figure out a good way of hosting my images so any suggestions in replies would be appreciated as the method I currently have is far from ideal.

Anyway over the last few months I have been working on this Training Panzer 1. As you can see from the pictures below its not really a Trisar kit anymore with lots of Aber, Dragon and scratch built components. I also have a Dragon FlakPanzer 1 in a semi completed state.

I have posted one image in the forum so you will get an ideal of what is going to show up if you follow the link to google images.

So I assume that the yellow plastic is the Tri-Star original. Amazing job!

It sure is. Most impressive, especially since model is pretty small.

Super work Steven

you had me at Pz I and even more with the ohne Aufbau version too.

Did you CE or solder the PE?

The detailing in the engine bay looks good, where did you find the references?

Hope you don't mind me quizzing you, as I have struggled to find much reference materiel for either the ohne Aufbau and the engine too.

My ultimate goal would be a full PE Pz IA, one day perhaps

Great work though

Regards

Steve H

Good Morning all,

Thank you for your kind comments, I am currently in the process of painting the tank which should be finalised soon.

All the PE is soldered and most of the engine detail comes from Panzer Tracts 1.1 - Panzer 1 and this website:

https://www.net-maquettes.com/pictures/panzer-ausf-i-a/?afg553_page_id=13#afg-553

Which shows several dozen pics of a Ausf A Panzer 1.

Oh a full metal Panzer 1 was my first thread on this forum eight years ago.

The brass Pz I looks really cool, Steven
Did you use the Brass turret too?
Bookmarked the references for future use
Got to love a Pz I, I guess I have given that one away already
Looking forward to the paint work.
Nice work
Regards
