Field grey what is the equivilent in humbrol or other enamel paint? I'm back to modelling and humbrol used to have FG as a color not any more. I'm thinking it could be humbrol uniform grey 111. Also who makes a dark yellow for german tanks?

Field gray varied from early war to late war anything from a greenish gray to allmost a panzer gray. Have about 6 or 7 different colors and all are different but in the books it is shown as a greenish gray. Heck so you can't go wrong really. Just picked up some of that Fancy paint from spain and again different. So go with what you want. Enjoy Enjoy don't worry be Happy

Hola,
Indeed, HUmbrol 111 is a good starting point, mix some green, brown or white for some different shades of field gray.
Lately Ive been using a mix of Ivy Green, black and white apple barrel acrylics, works just as good and I never get two uniforms the same color...just as in real life!
As for dark yellow, I also mix this with yellow ochre, white , territorial beige, and some ivy green.
Tamiya's got the XF-60 for Dark Yellow, Humbrol has some also, not sure of numbers though.

Not long ago, there was a long discussion on the subject with many answers. You can find it here:
Best Colour for German Troops.
Hope it helps,
