Up next from MiniArt is a figures and accessories set that builds a scene of soldiers having a meal.

I have a concern about this one as it looks as if the figures are not made for the product due to the feet not meeting the ground in the case of two of the figures.

Aren't those an old set of figures , Soviet Soldiers At Rest ? IRC they were pictured on the box sitting on logs around a campfire .

You could trim down the chair legs so the soldier's feet rest on the ground.

Or rest the boot on something - not uncommon. One tiny razor slice behind the knee will also fix it. Not a game stopper.

Personally I commend MiniArt in offering this set; I particularly like the stove and see several possible uses.

very cool offering from MiniArt; am buying more of their kits lately especially figures; good offerings for the most part and interesting poses, etc. Been buying Dragon figures as well when I can as it seems they just aren't making them anymore, especially WW2 stuff.

Go MiniArt!

They were also featured in the "Soviet Field Kitchen winter scenery" kit. I suspect the added details may be a sprue from "Eastern European House Stuff". I guess if you want a bit from both older releases, this is a good choice...
