hey everone
im looking for tips on depicting viet cong tunnels trenchs and bunkers. i have found liitle help on the subject so help will be very much apprecieted. any help at all such as detailing main contruction will be of great help!!

I'd try thinking "cutaway" or even shadowbox style or wait!...Book style where it breaks and swings out inbetween to halves (picture a steamer trunk, on it's narrow end facing you so the main seam where the two halves of the trunk meet and you lock it, is vertical in front of you, and the model is cutaway style built within the trunk! get it?

Good idea choosing that kind of subject, it's a real noodle-scratcher!

Here is a pic of tunnel that I made. I used foam insulation to construct it and covered it red clay dirt from my yard by mixing it with white glue and smearing it on. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.

Hey, thanx A-Train for the comment. I plan on doing a shadow box of the Cu-Chi complex I have posted. Dont know what scale yet but it will probably be smaller than 1/35.
