A December release, just in time for Christmas! I'm particularly interested to see what they did with the interior as most of the new features seem to focus on this with the gun breech, mount, etc.

I'm sure this will be a nice kit, but somehow it just doesn't excite me as much as the more obscure announcements they've made. We've allready had plenty of Stug's available, but that pz.iv based bridge-layer...now that is something to look forwards to.

Thats awesome news! Dragon went Stug crazy 10 years ago and its about time one got updated to what we expect in a kit these days

Hopefully the Jagdpanther is on the list for a future retooled superkit

says shock absorbers in extreme detail...

I gotta wonder with the level of detail on these kits how long it will be before the shocks will come with fluid in them

I always liked Stugs so this is a welcome kit for me.

Looks like a prime candidate to finally build a Sturmi (Finnish version). Lovely.

Thanks for this Jim. Definitely like the look of this one - particularly the interior detail! Only one question - since the steering brake hatches are seperate so they can be modelled open, are there any steering brakes to put inside!?

How detailed is the interior, anyway? Are there any words on it?

And another StuG for my stash :-)

I'm wondering how much details the interior will have? This kit could be a good contender for a "In the field gun replacement" diorama

Postponing to buy the tamiya and the early dragon kit paid off again! I knew Dragon will finally have a good model of the stug. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

If it features interior it will be the next one in my collection!
Which are the features of DML's "smart" kits?

Giacomo, the 'Smart Kits' are kits which rely on much more sophisticated plastic moulding rather than using Photo-Etch. So, the reality is, they are MUCH easier to build. There is no simplification in the detail, rather the plastic is 'enhanced'
