In-Box Review
11
IDF Patrol Humvee Conv.

by: John F. Stanwood

I just received this sweet little kit, which was very promptly delivered as promised. The kit consists of 5 tires, 4 high back bucket seats, a petite molded roll cage and machine gun ring, an FN mag machine gun, and some other small parts that are typical of AEF designs. I don't always know what they are, but they sure look good on the finished model.

The kit was designed for the academy#1350 kit only. Having built numerous AEF kits in the pasta good wash with a dish detergent is necessary for proper adhesion of your favorite paint.

After minor filing and fitting I found the parts fit quite well. Living in Indiana, I see many Humvee's on trucks being transported to? This transkit looks very much like a number of these trucks I have seen in the flesh [so to speak].

At 25 dollars some may feel this is pricey, but if you don't have the time to scratch build... I'm partial to Israeli stuff, but this is a nicely molded kit of a unique version of the Humvee.

Good job Tony!
