WOW, and WOW again! I tried building this darned thing three or four times already, and have several ruined Sherman hulks to bear witness! But now Legend Productions has made that a whole lot easier. I picked this conversion up through Blast Models for the reasonable sum of 79 Euros. This is reasonable, when you consider the proportions of the kit. It is also worth an extre 10 % to me just foor being IDF material!
So what do you get??

The kit is crisply cast in a clear coloured resin. In the endless permutations that seem to be par for the course in Korean companies, some of the master makers (my inside confidential sources/moles) confirm are from the former Corée Production range that dissapeared as mysteriously, without a trace, as the dinosaurs or the ice age. (or that Australian thingee??)

Anyways, the kit consists of some 49 differrent parts and a complete sheet of PE. The upper hull is cast as an integral unit which facilitates overall construction, but is slightly marred, by loss of resin on one side. While unfortunate, I can live with this in exchange for having one of my dream machines.

The conversion is designed to accompany the DML M50 kit, and the instructions look pretty straight forward. I've waited, wanted, desired the kit, rather like the man of la Mancha, and now thisonce impossible dream, has become a reachable star.

I would recommend it to young and old, large and wide and give it the Captain Jack 3 bars and stars Seal of Approval. Cleaning up and assembly could prove tricky for the newly initiated, or lately arrived to the hobby. Might be best for those with alrady a resin conversion under their belts.

Onwards and upwards!
