When Trumpeter released the Stalinetz CHTZ-S-65 it was inevitable that some enterprising manufacturer would release an upgrade set for it. No surprises when that company is LZ Models whose approach has clearly put them at the head of the pack in both imaginative and technically superb releases
The New, 1/35th Scale release consists of a replacement radiator along with the full engine.

35405 _ Russian Stalinetz Tractors Engine Upgrade Set (detailed resin engine for Trumpeterīs Stalinetz CHTZ-S-65 kit)

The kit consists of:

39 resin parts

27 PE parts

Additional plastic parts, wires, decals for 2 vehicles (one in Russian, one in German service)

Available NOW from:

Our thanks to Libor of LZ MOdels for the Update!

Crazy! Libor is at it again with another nifty item. The engine is probably better than the kit, LOL.

I LOVE Libor's intensity and perfectionism. It makes me smile thinking of him cooking up another outrageously-detailed little perfection. And unlike some kits, the only thing you usually need with an LZ kit are paint & glue.

Well I have one on the way for my S-65 tractor... I can't wait. It is looking brilliant... Much more brilliant then the Huge hole that Trumpeter is providing the modeler with.

Thank you guys! I am getting together stuff for gas powered tractor variant, and this conversion set should not be a problem, but finding any good references for tractor with blade seems to be difficult enough. Some things are coming, and I will see soon if they can help Cheers Libor
