Looks like a new light utility vehicle coming from Hobby Boss in the new year, and this one is set up for special forces.
Hobby Boss has announced a new arrival for February 2013, the 1/35 scale 1.5 ton Meng Shi, converted for special forces use. The Humvee looking vehicle used by PLA is actually based on the HMMWV by General Motors. The vehicle is made in China, and is powered by a licensed built Cummins.

Cool! The market needs more modern SOF vehicles in plastic! I wonder if Hobby Boss will ever release the U.S. Navy SEAL DPV they advertised for so long.

Yes Peter, you just reminded me as well, where is that SEAL DPV?????????????????????????

I haven't seen the Land Rover WMIK kits in person, but since they have rollbars in plastic, IMO, it shouldn't be hard anymore to make the SEAL DPV roll cage bars in plastic now.
