News in from Ampersand Publishing puts a date on the release of what should be a great and complete publication on the Sherman Tank.
Ampersand Publishing has notified Armorama that the Son of Sherman Volume 1 will be available on May 15, 2013. This book is described as the complete and illustrated description of the U.S. M4 Sherman tank.

I started at the beginning and have been reading mine the last few nights. About 50 or 60 pages in, and if you like Sherman research, this is the book for you. Pat sold the first printing at the AMPS International Convention this past weekend if you had previously reserved a copy.
