MiniArt has a 1/35th scale Tram in the works which should make for a great central model in a diorama.
MiniArt has today announced a tram in the works. The model is listed as a European Tram and judging by the CAD images this should make for a great looking model. It will I believe be a good sized kit which along with some of the civilian figures on the market make for a great scene both before, during, and after World War Two.

I guess I've found it ... or at least a very close match ! (to say the truth, I've found Richard Avezaat's post about it on ML ) It's a German tram car built in 1913 (!) by MAN/SSW. The one above has been restored by the Nurnberg tram museum (Triebwagen 641). It was used there until 1966... : http://www.sfnbg.de/index.php/en/museum/rolling-stock-trams H.P.

As most trams are of a similar design I expect the after market will be supplying alternate finishes for this kit and then the scratch builders will be busy as well.

I hope we also see some figures for it.. in the way of a driver/conductor and a variety of seated passengers... hopefully by Miniart themselves Hisham

Trams must have one of the most requested items through the years .... but did anybody actaully think there would be an injected plastic model of one? I started to believe ... or hope ... when MiniArt released so many road sections with tram lines. At long last. Every dio builders´ dream object. I can imagine we will be seeing a lot of this kit in the years to come.
