I think you answered your own question when you mentioned Hornet heads. A lot of people switch out the kit heads for these wonderful products and pretty much everything you mentioned can be found in the line up from Hornet. J

If we forget the (hopefully being a joke!!) last remark, you may have a point. Modern, non-US AFV and vehicles, like Revell's MAN series, could use some European crews. But, IF WE SHOUT ENOUGH ( sorry, Robert! ) we might upen some minds to consider it. The Italeri crews are quite old fashioned and lack detail and the Verlinden ones out-of-stock since decades. For my Trumpeter Faun, I found just one resin German. Too bad......

Well 1970s and 80s era British soldiers in Plastic would be welcome. Quite a few vehicle kits for them around. The terrorists are not needed (and a somewhat bad joke). Some civilians from that era OTOH are much needed, the Miniart ones are only good for the 1950s.

Wow man,are you trying to get the Bader- Meinhof gang back together?? Doing a reunion tour?
Na, I want to do "Greenies at the gate", a scene from my 15month in the Bundeswehr back in 1987/88 where in the end we had two groups of Greenies: Group A was running towards the horizon as fast as the Birkenstocks would carry them, leaving a dust silouette like roadrunner Group B would have liked to do the same but they where chained to the gate and the key was running aways with Group A. The Bundeswehr soldiers in the mean time where playing around with an old artillery gun and practice ammo a few hundret meters down the barracks main road from the gate... Got a verbal reprimand and quite a bit of beer from the barracks commander for the action.

Trust me .... say something worthwhile and your posts will be noticed. For all those calling for more allied .... do you have any idea how many allied figures have been released this last few years? How about buying and building some of those ... then theres a chance more will be released. Burying every thread with the same repitive chants, wont make any difference.

A lot of people switch out the kit heads for these wonderful products and pretty much everything you mentioned can be found in the line up from Hornet. J
Hi! I AGREE! The Hornet heads are beautifully cast; but we need the bodies to go with them. I'm referring to the huge variety of body-shapes and facial features: tall, short, under-nourished, obese, you name it. Not everyone has that "beautiful or Hollywood-handsome profile- that's all I'm asking for- a greater VARIETY...

First of all, I HAVE bought all of those US/ALLIED figures, AND built & painted them! Secondly, with just ME buying them, you can't seriously think that there's a chance that more US/ALLIED figures will be released, do you? If you would be so kind to refer back to the following posts of mine, I think that you'll find that I'm not just talking about US/ALLIED figures, starting with: July 14, 12:30 PM GMT, July 15, 10:03 AM GMT, July 16, 04:42 AM GMT, July 16, 0:530 AM GMT, and July 16, 11:56 PM GMT... Thank You

I was training once with the Bundeswehr so I could get my Sports badge(very hard to get that one!)and the schutzensnur. We were on a training mission and I remember the German company commander getting ticked off at his contingent of greenie draftees and swearing to "knock the pacifism out of them!". I was thinking at the time"I'm with you buddy but good luck with that". J
