Nicholas Moran AKA The Chieftain has been supplying some fantastic walk around videos for World of Tanks fans. These videos have a host of data not available covering the tanks inside and out and even covers the Panzerkampfwagen VIII Maus.
Firstly I should pass on a very big thank you to Nicholas Moran for his permission to show a sample of his videos here on Armorama. The videos need no introduction from me other than the vehicles looked at here.

That was both fantastic and disapointing . Great that they got access to the inside of Maus , but from this modellers veiwpoint , they could have showed more of the interior. True, Maus has been gutted , but it would have been nice to see inside the driver's compartment ,for what it's worth. He mentions the ready rack for the 75mm , would have been nice to see how that was set up , and a 360 view of the turret wouldn't have gone amiss either . Might be possible to figure out where various internal equipment and personal gear was stored from brackets or weld marks . Wonder if the 128mm rounds were stored horizontal like in the Jagdtiger or verticle ... I guess these vids are mostly aimed at WOT gamers , and they might not be as interested as some of us . But I did bookmark the site and will use it in tandum with a couple of others to get a more complete view of my fav armoured vehicles .

Jim if this follows the same layout as other vehicles further videos of the vehicle will be released. This was only a taster to get you all interested. Armorama will be running video features of the completed series on the site thanks to Mr Moran.

Thats good to know . I did notice lots of cuts and edits in the vid so there is a lot more out there . Just hope they can show us some stuff from a modellers prospective . Guess I'll have to spend some time on WOT checking out all the videos to get a fuller picture . Thanks for bringing this series of videos to my attenion , as I don't play WOT or any other computer games I never would have heard of it .
