Kit Form Services has informed Armorama of their latest large scale release in the form of the L118 105mm Light Gun.
Kit Form Services have been producing some excellent 1/24th scale resin, white metal, and photo etched kits for some time now. Their growing range has now been joined by the L118 105mm Light Gun which should have a lot of appeal to artillery modellers of all scales. Below is the information supplied by Kit Form Services.

This unique & highly successful British designed artillery piece, has been purchased by the USA (where it is known as the M119) & Australia (where it is known as the Hamel) amongst many others. Accepted for service in the early 70s it first saw extensive active service in the Falklands campaign, firing up to 400 rounds per day & is still in service today.

The model allows for any firing angle, for both towing options (barrel forward / barrel reversed), & comes complete with a demountable base plate turntable & its securing strops. Shells, charges & ammo boxes complete with decals are also included.

Consisting of 46 parts in high quality resin, 36 parts in white metal, 61 parts in brass etch. Full pictorial build instructions included. The 105 Light Gun forms the perfect stable mate for the KFS TQ-204 1 ton Forward Control.

TQ-208 - L118 105mm Light Gun - £75.00 in the EU and £62.50 outside the EU

Looks really nice. Any chance it can be down-scaled to 1/35?

Hi Gino, Do it in 1/35th ? Afraid not....well not by me anyway. That would rather negate the entire point of what I'm doing. i.e a range of 'Classic British Military Vehicles'(& weapon systems) in 1/24th scale. 1/24th is my chosen & preferred scale. Besides, Aussie Armour already produce it in 1/35th. Best regards......Howard @ KFS

Unfortunately, they no longer do. Another option would be nice. Good luck with it and the rest of your line.

I understand the 'Hamel' as they call it is about be rereleased. I believe the other Aussie caster who does the 1/25th Centurion stuff now has it. minds gone blank, can't remember they're name. Pretty sure thats what I read.

The Aussie Armour one is being re-released under license by Mouse House. I have the masters here for the Hamel, and am currently just about done on the new rubbers. Nice job Howard. Hope it sells well for you. Cheers Jason
