The two new publications from Concord are continuations of series' started several months ago. Both will be highly-useful additions to those who rely heavily on contemporary images....
Both books cover German subjects and both, as is the standard established by Concord, have a strong emphasis on reproducing images - with the needs of modellers very firmly emphasised.

6515 Waffen-SS at War: (2) The Late Years 1943-1944

The book is written by Robert Michulec and illustrated by Stephen Andrew the series is, I believe, edited by Frank de Sisto. The book consists of 52 Pages, 131 photos and 4 Color Plates. For those who require it, it has the ISBN 962-361-106-4

The title should be somewhat self-explanatory, and due to the complexity and variation of late-war Waffen SS uniforms, should be of particularly value to the diorama builder and figure modeller.

The second book announced by Concord, is clearly targeted at the Armor Modeler:

7061 - PANZER VOR! 4: German Armor at War 1939-45 is written by Frank V. De Sisto and illustrated by Laurent Lecocq.

The book, which consists of 72 pages, 175 photos and 16 color plates, is the fourth in the Panzer Vor! series and again covers a variety of German vehicles using as many unpublished photos as possible. Apart from the usual German vehicles, one of the major selling points of the book will undoubtedly be the coverage given to some of the foreign vehicles in German service: vehicles such as the Bulgarian T-11 light tank, Czech Pz.Kpfw.38(t), French Somua S-35, and Russian T-34/76 are featured amongst the photos.

More photos of both of the books, can be seen at the side...

Concord always does a good job but I would like to see more Allied subjects. You would think the Germans were the only people with cameras in World War 2. Tom (primarily an Allied modeler)
