Big in every respect, this stunning new 1/24th scale release from Kit Form Services of the British army's AEC Militant Mk1 6x6 Gun Tractor is really quite something...
With 145 Resin parts, 101 white metal parts and 344 Photo etch parts, this super detailed kit, should provide a long term project. Kit Form Services have lovingly created a 1/24 reproduction of the British army's workhorse, AEC Militant Mk1 6x6 Gun Tractor. Due for release on the 24th of October, with prices starting at 200. hopefully it will make an appearance at the IPMS Telford show in November, going to have to leave the credit card at home just in case..

Manufacturers description:

'This 1/24th scale model of the 'Tenny', 'Milly' or 'Knocker' as they were affectionately known measures some 306mm long. It has separate cab doors, fully detailed engine with separate engine cover, fully detailed cab interior with all the relevant controls, batteries & etched stowage pockets, real wire mesh radiator grill, winch, detailed drive line & suspension, 14.00 x 20 bar grip tyres on separate wheels, late production type artillery body with crew seats, hoops & resin cast canvas. The usual clear cast pre coloured lights, an A4 sized wealth of etched brass detail parts, quality waterslide decals & the usual high standard pictorial instructions spanning 28 pages.

Great to see more UK softskins, but how about in 1/35th?

We won't see any 1/35 from KFS, we might hope for something from Accurate Armour but a Militant would be too much of a gamble for a mainstream manufacturer. We had a Land Rover from Hobby Boss and that came with a number of issues.
