Model Miniature have sent some news on their release of another fine example of the French VBCI. This time in the variant seen both on the UNIFIL and Op Sangaris missions
Model Miniature are no strangers to modern AFVs, not only do they produce military vehicles but also accessory sets to accompany them either to convert them or to offer a change to the basic configuration.

These two releases are no different:
Ref: MM-R162 is the VBCI as deployed on the United Nations Force in Lebanon or as seen on Operation Sangaris which is the current deployment in the Cebtral African Republic. This model does not have an interior and retails at €39.90
MM-R163 is the accessories containing bags, cable cutters rear basket and a figure enabling the modeller to offer an alternative finish to any VBCI. This small set is priced at €7.90

Our thanks go to Julie Ludman of Model Miniature for sending along this update.

Not sure whether or not the VBCI has been deployed to Central African Republic but it has been present in Mali since the beginning of the operation Serval now called Barkhane. The kit is correct for these operations too.
