U.S. Heli Door Gunners w/M23

BRAVO-6 released a new kit in 2 versions for Vietnam War Helicopter door gunners.

As always, it is sculpted by Vladimir Demchenko in 1/35 scale , cast in grey resin and have PE parts.

The kit will have 2 different versions.B6-35069 includes two door gunners and a M23 Armament Subsytem. The other version B6-35083 will only include door gunners but no M23 subsytem.

Door gunners are sculpted with AFH-1 helmets and Chicken plate armors. One wears jungle fatigue and other has Nomex suit.

Left door gunner is posed to fire his M60 machine gun as the right sider is posed to lean forward like checking loading or unloading soldiers or helping pilots during take-off or landing.

This is a great addition to B6-35073 Helicopter pilots to build a Vietnam Huey.

Excellent job, Vladi! I really like this set for a few reasons. One, my dad was a door gunner for a while and I would like to make him a model of the huey he flew in. Second, I like the poses - especially the door gunner looking back into the cabin as people loading or unloading. And lastly, because we have been needing a good set of door gunners for a UH1D/UH1H for quite some time. Although the older Dragon set had one door gunner for a UH1D, there was only ONE. The other was for other models. Cheers,
