Model vehicle maker Herpa announces that MiniTanks will henceforth be known as Military.
Years ago Herpa assumed the MiniTanks product line from Roco;
    Minitanks is a rich in tradition military series which was launched by the model railway manufacturer Roco in 1960. The brand name has stood for detailing, scale and precision in the model building world ever since. On October 1, 2007, Herpa has taken on the worldwide distribution of the military series Minitanks and will continuously advance and extended the program.

In their Cars & Trucks 07-08/2015 catalogue Herpa announced that they will evolve the MiniTank brand into a new brand: Military. Herpa states that under Military they will be introducing new-mold models and that their first release will be the modern wedge-shaped eight-wheel AFV, the GTK Boxer. There will be two Boxers - four actually - each with a factory finished and undecorated version;

Wow, never even knew these guys were producing new military stuff. Roco Minitanks were some of the first tanks I ever brought with my carefully hoarded pocket-money ....
