Have you ever dreamt of being able to instantly identify any German tank?
The number and diversity of models and versions make that task harder than it may at first sound! Caraktère publishing is looking at doing something about this issue in 25 days’ time.
Panzer: the German tank encyclopaedia now allows you, due to accurate technical and historical descriptions highlighting the key features and main differences between various versions, complete technical datasheets and 4-view colour drawings, to name the changes introduced by the German engineers during World War II. Covering the Neubaufahrzeug, Panzer 35(t), Panzer 38(t), Panzer I, Panzer II, Panzer III, Panzer IV, Panther, Tiger I and II will no longer hold any secrets from you!

Extensively illustrated with more than 200 unpublished or rarely seen photographs, over 100 colour profiles and 4-view drawings, this first volume of the WW2 arsenal encyclopaedia, throughout its 196 pages, presents you with an exceptional review of the German battle tanks and mechanical warfare, from 1933 through to 1945.

Unusually for Caraktère publishing the text in these offerings is in full English and is to be released on August 25, 2015

Hmmm... Is there indeed anybody out there who needs and intends to buy such a book? Come on... This would have come handy in the 80s, but nowadays, where you can find any information within just some seconds, it perhaps makes little sense...

I suppose this might sell well with the upswell of interest surrounding WoT. Perhaps the local hobby shop might sell a few too. On a site visited by mostly seasoned AFV modelers, I suppose it would find less of a WOW factor.

Hm... Well there is a book, published a while ago, that features pretty much every tank and AFV put out, or known to exist on paper, by the German war machine. Forget the name currently but I have a copy of the book.

The list price in Euros converts to almost 80 dollars here in Canada . I'm not going to buy it sight unseen , I'm going to have to leaf through this at a store to see if there's enough " new " or unknown to me pictures to make me want it . One can only hope .
