MasterBox has announced three more 1/24th scale beauties from the past. These three ladies are called Suzie, Patty and Samantha.
I do not really see a use for these ladies in their current scale for me, but I do commend MasterBox for trying something different. As can be seen from the box art and the assembled models there are slight changes to the poses indicated. I cannot help thinking that if these were figures as used on aircraft nose art or similar they would prove to be far more desirable to the modeller to accompany models of the aircraft.

1) 24004 “Pin-up series, Kit No. 4. Suzie” – This kit is the part of the series of the kits performed in new 1/24 scale for Master Box company. The choice of this scale exactly for the series of the kits performed in Pin-up style is caused by that there is indeed enormous number of the models of techniques performed in 1/24 scale on the market, but meanwhile some deficiency of the figures in this scale is felt and the offered series of the kits is just aimed at making up this deficiency. The kit consists of one sprue with the parts that allow creating of one figure of girl. The pose of the girl allows using of the figure both with any model of techniques and creating of an independent and very expressive vignette. We would like to emphasize that the figure is performed on rather high artistic level and will give a lot of pleasure to modellers during the assembly. Besides, the figure has personal name - Suzie.
The kit is performed in 1/24 scale.

2) 24005 “Pin-up series, Kit No. 5. Patty” – This kit is the part of the series of the kits performed in new 1/24 scale for Master Box company. I have their first 3 pin-up figures and also the 1/35 scale figure set. The making of the figures is excellent, their faces are lovely. The separate hair give you a chance to do your own hairstyle. They can go pretty well with any 1/24 scale plane, jeep or motorcyle. Only creating a ship model for the Navy-style lady might cause some extra work:-))

Hmmm.... I originally thought of an IOWA class battleship. Only 11,25 meter long in 1/24 scale.
