Dragon has announced that they will be releasing five new kits that have not been released in plastic before. They appear to be new variants based on existing molds and they will apparently be available this spring.
Dragon is springing into action this spring with five unique kit releases in its popular 1/35 scale series!

The five new items are as follows:
- 6399 Jagdpanzer 38 mit 2cm FlaK 38
- 6489 15cm s.IG.33/2 (Sf) auf Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer
- 6721 5cm PaK38 L/60 auf Fgst.Pz.Kpfw.II (Sf)
- 6815 Vollkettenaufklärer 38 w/7.5cm Kanone 51 L/24
- 6834 10.5cm StuH.42 Ausf.F

As these German subjects have never before been available in plastic, model-makers can now construct these long-awaited items where these kits have been thoroughly researched and engineered with a multitude of new parts!

In the promo pic, Dragon call the StuH an E/F. Can it then be backdated to an L/24 StuG lll E? This kit isn't based on the ancient Imperial Dragon StuG lll, E/F, is it? (Or was it an equally old C/H kit)?

I do hope so,

This ^ plenty of other armoured subjects that haven't a model in any scale but still the manufacturers bring out German tanks, in many cases some that didn't even make it of the drawing board.
I've said and written this for years, and I still get told to "SHUT UP!" by the German WWII fans.
I don't recall anyone ever telling anyone to SHUT UP over this, let alone you, Dennis. What I have seen is people say "Model companies make what they think will earn them the most money", or some variation thereof. Why do I bring this up? Because it's a perfect example of the needless, ridiculous, exaggeration used to frame arguments these days. It seems that people can't live with the other guy hearing their point and deciding not to agree, they must have been victimized, attacked, deprived. Why else wouldn't the model companies make more Allied vehicles rather than panzers? You have to wonder, if a factual telling of your position seems lukewarm and unconvincing without blowing it up to extremes, perhaps your argument is lukewarm and unconvincing. KL

Oh look, a nother stug. I bet you there's going to be some kind of Panzer IV as well this year

Well, to be fair, are there really that many more StuG kits out there than there Tigers or Panzer IVs? I'm willing to gamble and bet that there are more Tiger I kits alone than there are StuGs of all denominations.

Dragon and other producers attitude towards Stug is very much "Ausf G or GTFO"
