Although 'Braille-scale' still remains a touch overshadowed by 1/35th scale, there is no reason to believe that it's in any danger of vanishing. Virtually all the 'majors' continue to support it and certain companies such as Mirage have some wonderful material coming out..

Seen on CMK's stand were a range of Oshkosh' in 1/72nd (resin) - more to follow!

Although there were an extraordinary amount of new releases being listed, few caught my imagination more than the New Stuart series from the Polish manufacturer, Mirage Hobby. These are multi.media kits (plastic, resin and Photo Etch). There are no less than FIVE variants of the 'Stuart' coming out. These are:

87212 - M3a1 Light Tank - Ist American Armored Division, Tunisia 1942

87215 - Australian Light Tank M3 - New Guinea 1943

87216 - M3 Stuart Mk 1 (Honey) Operation Crusader: 8th KRIH 'A' Squadron

87217 - M3 Stuart Mk 1 (Honey) Operation Crusader: 8th KRIH 'B' Squadron

87218 - M3 Stuart Mk 1 (Honey) Operation Crusader: 8th KRIH 'C' Squadron

This list will be added to during the year. My particular thanks to Mirage for the assistance!

Trumpeter are also meant to be bringing out several t-34s and several types of Kv1s and a couple of KV2s as well as a early and late brummbar, Italeri are also bringing out a Berlin building and new bunker with a anti aircraft gun based on their recently released anti tank gun bunker as well as a newly tooled pak 40 with crew Click Here i would love to see someone bringing out a flak panzer coelian (whatever happened to dragon's and hasagewa's promised coelians a few years back) early & late Hetzers (current ones on offer are poor) a Panther 2 and hopefully more modern soviet / warsaw pact armour to compliment trumpeters proposed Btr 80 ... lets face it ace kits are really poor quality
