This particular 251 variant is a very nice subject indeed. However, the fact that there are now TWO available does make me wonder if their resources could have been better applied elsewhere. Now, starting a NEW Ausf. A or B series of 251s would be VERY welcome... Entertaining as many of the comments are, (I know it's difficult ) but could people please resist the temptation to publish their personal wish-lists on the 'What's New' threads (for a good example of this, see my first paragraph )

I think thats all BS about the Tiger's. You can regularly find 1996 releases in any hobby store or online but 6252/6253 that are less then two years old? Why any company refuses to make more of a super hot product always baffles me. They make no money from a late tiger selling for $90 on ebay.

Do you mean that what I wrote is BS? I don't give a rat's ass if you believe it or not - I just wrote what I know from DML. But you are probably conspiracy theories fan... Pawel

I just think its a stupid reason for a company to miss out on easy profit. It's like waiting for Ford to do a diesel F150(for which it has an off-the-shelf motor for it), when it has had over 3 million requests. You need to relax, I'm not reffering to you. I quit smoking cold turkey after 24 years two weeks ago and I'm not 1/5th as touchy

Thank you for the response Pawel. Jim I'm sorry for posting off topic. If anybody wishes to continue a debate over DML Tigers I'd be happy to create a new thread.

Well for the new Dragon releases, the news subtitle should be 'the yawn heard around the world'. :-)

Kevin, How much dust do those 1996 releases have on them? And if they don't it's only because the shop owner has wiped them clean after getting them from a distributors warehouse. I know this is hard for people who don't work in wholesale/retail to fathom, but there are warehouses full of old product just waiting to find homes. And most of that product is old stock. Why do you think it is that HobbyLobby can afford to sell things at 50% off? No Pawel is right. DML is not re-manufacturing 12 year old kits in lieu of re-manufacturing 2 year old kits that they would stand to sell more of (for a higher price!). That is just stupid business sense and they are not stupid. Cheers, Jim
