Modelcollect continues releasing 1/72 models of Soviet Equipment. The latest news is a heavy truck MAZ 7311.
The MAZ 7311 is a derivative of the MAZ-543 8x8 Soviet heavy trucks, designed and developed by MAZ (Minsk Automobile Plant), in what is now Belarus.

For the moment the only information we have about the kit is the boxart, however it can be expected a high level of details and some photo etch parts, according to Modelcollect's trajectory.

It seems the Chinese confused the things again. MAZ-7311 is ballast tractor with short ballast body (on 547 chassis). What's on the boxtop picture is MAZ-7911 supply truck with normal GS body (on 543 chassis). The most obvious difference between MAZ-543 and MAZ-543 chassis is the wheelbase.
