Once again, one of these reports which were waiting for the images...
Previously announced by DML this completely new set in their 'standard' figure range although labelled for the Marder will be sufficiently 'generic' for ANY Self-Propelled AT gun:

DRA 6367 - German Marder III H Self-Propelled Gun Crew (4 Figures Set) will be released in May 2007.

Hello all, Sorry to say that, but they look like crappy figures !!!! they look like amercian football players. The guy on the left couldn't be human ! Dragon have raised their figures to such a standard that I cannot believe they created and produced this set. I 100% agree with Jan : Tristar set is way better ! My mark for this set : 2/10 Best, Julien

I am not going to judge the figures based on one photo of a test (initial) shot. Shaun

Thanks Shaun! There is a little bit of a 'tendency' at the moment towards 'instant reviews'

Box art looks great, figures don't, simple as that... Cheers, Christophe

Gents. If this figure set is as good as Dragons Sturmgeschutze Crew (DML-6192), then we need not worry about the quality of the figures. Jim's kit review is good, so there is nothing wrong there, its just the test shot of the figures do look a little strange, esp when compared to the box-art by Ron Volstad. I have these figures on pre-order, so when I get them in stock, I will take a good look at them myself. Once I know how good (or bad) they are, I will relay it back to this post. Cheers !! Robert

Ok, ok my remarks may look hasty. But I guess the final figures won't be far different from what we can see on your post.... We will see...but just to conclude these figures reminds me the old ones sold by Tamya with their Panther, Tiger etc series... Best, Julien

OK gents. I got these new Dragon German SPG crew figures in on Friday. I opened up a box today to see how good (or how bad) they really are. Here are my findings: 1) 4 figurers in crisp detail with an extra optionnal head and pair of legs. Figures look to be in early-mid war uniforms (1941-43 range). Figures have personal side arms, 2 sets of headphones, and 1 set of binos. 2) 2nd sprue with 2 types of 7.5cm Pak 70 ammo, ammo tubes and metal crates. Set of nice-quality decals (for the ammo and boxes), and a fret of PE parts for the headphones. Overall molding quality is excellent. Not sure on fit because I have not assembled them, but from their appearence, look like there will be little if any fit issues. I compared them to the Dragon 1/35th Sturmgeschutze Crew figures (DML 6192), and these Dragon German SPG crew figures look just as good. Therefore, I would have to say they are trouble free. These figures are NOT a step backwards, nor are they "goofy" like old Tamiya figures. Drgaons level of (now expected) quality is right there. any of these figures will look great on just about any WWII German 1/35th SPG or any other Panzer for that matter. Poses are excellent, and will look fine in any diorama depicting a German crew preparing for action. I recommend them, and have them in stock here at my shop. Get your set(s) today ! Now, off to my workbench Cheers !! Robert

Is it just me or are those arms looking too long again? I wonder if this is the same sculptor as for the 2cm Flak gun crew... About the inconsistencies between the box art and the kit... that's a general plastic kit problem, and not only limited to this manufacturer.
