For release as a limited edition kit is the Tamiya Israeli Tank M51 bundled with Aber photo-etched parts.
During the 1960's, the Israeli Defense Forces upgraded their M4A1 Sherman tanks by equipping them with the powerful French 105mm CN-105-F1 tank gun and they were re-designated as M51s. A muzzle brake was installed to minimize the greater recoil effect and a large counterweight was fitted to the rear of the turret to offset the long barrel. A total of 180 Shermans were converted into M51s.

The new kit, #25180 pairs Tamiya's model of the Israeli M51 with photo-etched parts from the renowned aftermarket parts maker Aber. Finely detailed parts such as M2 heavy machine gun barrel add a highly impressive layer of realism to an already-detailed kit.

Release date: March 2017.
