The sale of Tank Workshop is complete and the former owner, Jay Galbierz, provides some information on the new proprietor and the future of the company
This is the message he has sent to Armorama regarding the new situation:

Please let me introduce the new owner of Tank Workshop, Brian Watkins.

Brian is currently the owner and producer of Resin2detail products which is a line of resin and photo etch accessories for the aircraft modeler. The addition of Tank Workshop’s 1/35th and 1/48th armor lines will greatly enhance Brian’s business in the resin aftermarket products arena.

I have met and talked with Brian for quite some time and he’s dedicated to adding new items to the Tank Workshop and Tank Workshop48 lines that the armor modelling community is looking for. He’s now getting settled and has a somewhat sizable road ahead of him to get things set up to start producing Tank Workshop products once again. The web site has been fully transferred to him and I believe he will continue to use the current Tank Workshop web site until he deems it necessary to incorporate the two into Resin2detail’s business plan. You all should be hearing from him soon, here and on other forums, his plans to re-open the web site and what his plans for Tank Workshop will be in the future.

Thanks again to all of you. I am now going to finally retire from the resin aftermarket business and sit down and build a kit.

Jay Galbierz

We wish them all the best for both, and look forward to see Jay's models and TW new sets.

Nice to hear the Tank Workshop products aren't dead! But i'm wondering now if it's already possible to order some Stug/Pz III stowage boxes? The website is (as mentioned) still running and shows large stocks of items cheers Chris

Is this the company that used to make Bergepanther interior?

No. That was Tiger Model Design https://tigermodeldesigns.com/ But according to the web site he won't be making any more as the production time versus income isn't worth it compared to other more popular and quicker made items.

Quite a loss and all the more reason that some mainstream model company should -finally!- offer a really good styrene Bergepanther kit!
