Darren Neely's second book covering the work of the US Army's Signal Corps photographers during Second World War in Europe, is in stock and shipping.
Building on the success of his first book on the subject, Darren delves deeper into hitherto unknown sources and with the help of veterans and their families, brings an incredible amount of new material with photographs shown here for the first time since World War 2

This 240 page volume features 252 clear, high quality photographs of US and German fighting vehicles and is complemented by 8 pages of specially commissioned colour artworks by Felipe Rodna which bring the subjects to life.

These are always so cool to flip through. So many dio ideas and real battle damage to copy.

The Mickey Mouse on the 251 is weird/cute and the burned-out Tiger 2 very realistic. I also really liked the GIs gathered around the track-festooned Panther as they get an info lecture on their worst nightmare. On the other hand the muzzle break on pic 16 looks slightly too big.
