Undoubtedly interesting additions, but the prices of these "mini-kits" are not just high, but simply inadequate.

How much do they cost? / Robin
AUG 01, 2017 - 02:27 PM
For example, GPS antennas costs 45 USD on Lucky Models. Battering rams costs 35 USD. I do not know about you, my modeling colleagues, but I do not really need a CD with a photo (it's like video games, boxes with all sorts of junk), and even if it were pure gold, then this "kits" can not be so expensive anyway .

Dear Belyaev A few notes : 1. I cannot control the prices indicated in verious mail-order sites. Our MSRP is lower. 2. Yes, I agree that the prices are higher than normal. It is mainly because they are not produced in China, nor produced in large numbers. It is a limited editition series, and this is another factor of the high price. 3. Unlike other firms dealing with IDF, the research involved from me is of highest degree. 4. There is a bunch of MANY genuine and related photos in the CD included in the packaging, saving research from the builder. This itself is a highly valued item, that justifies the price (in my eyes). 5. the new kit 35005 is 24.00 USD, so there is a drop in the price level, and this one includes a CD as the others. It is a new era for IDF modellers, dear Belyaev. but the information is not coming from museums. It comes from photography in the field (my photography) and from the drawing tables. It is one thing to measure a Merkava 1 in Saumir, Munster or the Czech Republic, or to do a tough research, a time consuming task, that leads at the end to a unique kit. Our 5 kits are not dealing with changing mistakes in the golden models that we find for several years, but with adding equipment to every produced Merkava. These are a nice supplements, and they are presented to the modeler with everything needed including an album. Hope I made my mind and answered your serious question. Michael. PS - I still do not know how to upload photos to my posts here
