The next Soviet T-60 tank from MiniArt will depict a vehicle produced by Plant No. 264.
The T-60 was a light tank developed as replacement to the T-38 amphibious tank. Armed with a 20mm main gun, more than 6,200 units were produced from 1941 to 1942. T-60s were captured by the Wehrmacht and pressed into service as gun tractor and munitions carriers.

MiniArt’s T-60 (Plant No. 264) (35219) will be offered as a kit with interior details. The additional images provide information on what makes this kit representative of a vehicle produced from said factory. Kit highlights:

  • Total of 492 parts in plastic, clear components, and photo-etched details
  • Highly detailed interior turret, driver, and engine compartments
  • GAZ-202 engine accurately represented
  • Full ammunition
  • All hatches can be posed open or closed
  • Individual track links
  • Decals for 6 finishing options
  • Full-colour instruction sheet
Background information on the vehicle sourced from Tanks-Encyclopedia.com and Wikipedia.

I'm really looking forward to this kit, at least with this tank you can actually see the ENTIRE turret interior through the hatch!

I love the 'various mounting hatches over the transmission' comment where there is only one hatch! Nice looking kit though

There are three different hatches included, you can see it on their hp.

Nice that even a basic kit like this has a reasonably-detailed interior. Man, it must have been brutal to crew this little beast with the engine in the crew compartment!
