For what-if fans, Modelltrans Modellbau offers a tank hunter mounting the Rotkšppchen anti-tank weapon.
Designed and developed by Ruhrstahl AG in 1943, the X-7 Rotkšppchen (Red Riding Hood) was an anti-tank missile intended for use against tanks and armored vehicles. The Rotkšppchen was a rocket-propelled, wire-guided missile that featured a shell-shaped body with two wings at its rear end, detonated by an impact fuse. It is believed that a few hundred were produced, and there have been unconfirmed reports of its operational use at the Eastern Front.
From Modelltrans Modellbauís its Pazerwaffe í46 line comes Raketenjagdpanzer "Hetzer" with XR-7 "Rotkšpchen" (MT72462). Cast in resin, the kit builds a 1/72 Jagpdanzer 38 with a Rotkšppchen as primary armament in lieu of its main gun.
