Released in 1/35 scale about five years back, Trumpeter now offers its kit in 1/72 scale.

The T-80BV is an upgraded version of the T-80B main battle tank. It mounts a 125mm 2A46 smoothbore gun which can fire a full range of ammunition including APFSDS, HEAT, HE-Frag, and training rounds. Its standard equipment includes NBC protection system, night vision, and fording kit. Crewed by 3 personnel, the T-80BV has an operating radius of 335km, and 400km if fitted with additional fuel tanks.

Russian T-80BV MBT (07145). The kit contains more than 50 injection-molded parts, with road wheels and tracks as one assembly for ease in building. The built model’s dimensions: 136mm (L) and 52.2mm (W).
