It's been far too long since we covered the Polish AM manufacturer ABER in the News. Now, after the summer break, they've announced a series of new releases in a variety of scales.
Three different scales feature in Aber's releases for this month:

Firstly, something we don't often see from manufacturers, 1/16th Scale:

16017 - Panther G - Vol.3- Fenders (TAMIYA) apart from the Photo-Etch, some turned-brass are also included.

Moving onto the 'conventional' sales and beginning with 1/35th scale:

35106 - Ford GPA Amphibian "Jeep" (Tamiya)

Another 1/35th release, this time for dioramists is:

35D-36: Fern fronds

Moving onto 1/48th scale and reflecting the large number of releases of a variety of vehicle kits are:

48034 - GERMAN HEAVY TANK Pz.Kpfw.VI, Ausf.B TIGER II (Porsche Turret)

48035 - GERMAN HEAVY TANK Pz.Kpfw.VI, Ausf.B TIGER II (ProductionTurret)

48036 - GERMAN HEAVY TANK Pz.Kpfw.VI, Ausf.B TIGER II: Side skirts & fenders

Finally, also in 1/48th scale, are three turned-brass barrels:

48L03 - U.S. 75 mm M 3 tank barrel for M4 Sherman (Tamiya)

48L04 - Russian 76,2 mm F-34 tank Barrel for T-34/76 (Tamiya)

48L05 - German75 mm Pak 39 L/48 barrel for Jagdpanzer 38(t) HETZER (Tamiya)

I for myself can just really keep hoping that ABER will soon be doing more new things in 1/35th. It's great for 1/16th and 1/48th scale modellers that ABER are to release much new high quality stuff for them, but I'm a little bit disappointed that there is just one new 1/35th release coming. There are so many kits around which would profit so much from the typical ABER treatment. I wished the would do PE sets for the DML 234 family, for example. Or an ABER set for the Stryker... well well. I know that there Voyager sets around for the above mentioned kits, but ABER never disappointed me (what Voyager did) and they always were at the top with their sets. Johannes
